The Solid machines are designed for the highest-performance machining of difficult-to-machine materials.

Their heavy structure with vibration dampening and the use of polymer concrete provide the highestperformance machining and cutting almost without vibrations.

Besides the absolute performance in heavy machining, the Solid series offers a flexible range of individual machining, depending on a particular task.

Elaborated to every detail

The Solid series was developed for unconditional machining performance and the use of saw bands equipped with hardmetal. Modern, safe design and the use of polymer concrete for vibration dampening are just some of
the parameters of this series. Besides the highest machining performance, the Solid series saws offer various possibilities for individual ways of clamping workpieces.

Band guiding

The band saw is guided with large, mechanically preloaded and ground hardmetal boards. Guiding rollers provide redirecting with a possible high load, reducing stress during work.

Tolerance-free guiding

The band guiding arm is guided by two very precise linear guides and four supports. Thanks to tolerancefree preloading of guiding elements, vibrations in this area are practically eliminated.

Minimum distance

Linear guides of the vertical cutting axis are placed within the minimum distance from the saw band axis, thus reducing additional vibrations.

Simple operation

Simple operation through a modern control panel with an illuminated display. Status reports are displayed in noncoded texts.


ADFR – Highest precision. Fast cutting.
Minimal wear.

The ADFR system regulates the coordination of the cutting pressure and downfeeding automatically and in real time. The saw band current loading and the cutting course according to the material shape are regulated with a sensor. With materials of bigger cross sections, the cutting channel extends and the saw band loading increases. If the downfeeding in this section is not automatically adjusted, the saw band lifetime may be profoundly reduced or the cutting significantly extended due to smaller downfeeding.

ADFR function in cutting

Both-sided monitoring

The Solid series machines are equipped with regulating sensors located on both blocks of the band guiding. The sensors record pressure on the saw band along the whole cutting channel and react to every change.

Through roller track

The Solid series saws are equipped with a through roller track before and behind the saw band.

Clamping system

The clamping system consists of two independent vices. A hydraulic positioning vice with 500mm stroke is located on the machine behind the saw band.

Torsion-resistant structure

Vices are laid on two linear, tolerancefree preloaded guides, with two supports.


Both vices, before and behind the saw band, work both-sided. Vices placed in the machine axis are equipped with short-stroke cylinders, enabling levelling material unevenness.

Clamping force

Full-stroke large cylinders provide a sufficient clamping force before and behind the saw band.

Certified safety

All Solid series saws are supplied with a declaration of conformity with the current EU directives for machinery, issued by TÜV Süd for the Czech Republic.

Polymer concrete – reduced vibrations

Cuts with minimum vibrations are the basis for precision and long lifetime. Polymer concrete offers ideal damping qualities to be used with saws. In connection with the preloaded, generously dimensioned, tolerance-free linear guides, the polymer concrete technology ensures cuts almost without vibrations, with the highest machining performance. The polymer-concrete mixture was developed specifically for the use in saws and represents a well guarded BOMAR company secret. In order to reduce vibrations, the Solid series saws are fitted with polymer concrete in various places. The saw frame, base, and column form a damping frame, providing incomparable vibration-free cutting.


Accessories for high productivity

Swarf conveyor

A high-performance grabbing conveyor dimensioned to ensure a sufficient capacity for swarf disposal at the maximum cutting power.


Continuous control of the cutting precision. If the set value is exceeded, the machine operation will be stopped after the current cycle termination with an appropriate report.

Bundle clamping device

Cutting in layers and bundles increases productivity, i.e. the saw utilisation. The main vice and material feeding vice are equipped with vertical clamping units.

Hydraulics preheating

Při nízkých teplotách je hydraulický olej zahříván již od okamžiku spuštění pily, což zkracuje čekací dobu pro dosažení potřebné viskozity.

Swarf removing pistol

For cleaning bearing surfaces or regular flushing of accumulated swarf into a swarf collector.

Cooling agent heating

Heating of the cooling agent at low temperatures protects the emulsion from freezing and the machine from possible damages.

Clamping pressure regulation

Sensitive regulation of the clamping pressure for the main and material feeding vices to prevent possible deformations of thin-walled pipes and profiles.

Micro-sprinkler device

The device is recommended to be used especially for cutting pipes and profiles. It applies a thin oil film to the rear side of the band and to the teeth tips.

Handling System S / SP

System S / SP – strong partner in handling

A highly flexible handling solution for difficult tasks. Placing on a stable, welldimensioned frame and heavy rollers with possible high loading. Feet may be finely adjusted to level possible unevenness of the surface. The S system is completed with a wide range of additional parts and accessories.

Safety with system

Personnel are the most valuable part of every business and must be protected in compliance with current safety criteria. The SECURFLEX safety system allows every device to be secured individually, depending on the environment and requirements. Besides grids, doors and maintenance elements, the system offers a laser light lock system ensuring extensive safety, especially in the area of material feeding and removal of the cutting line. The device securing is divided into individual safety circuits to prevent interruption of the operation of other sections.
